Ralph C. Schulz
A Swiss-Peruvian-American filmmaker, actor, and distributor. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of RISE FLIX, helping independent filmmakers and their work get discovered by industry professionals such as talent representatives, producers, distributors, and financiers. Mentored by an Academy Award-nominated and two-time Sundance-winning executive producer, Ralph has directed and produced over a dozen short films starring Academy Award winners such as Renée Taylor, and he has worked on HBO shows such as The Chair Company and And Just Like That. He has also worked with powerhouse companies like Evoke Entertainment, Amasia Entertainment, and JP Literary (an independent book-to-film scouting firm evaluating material for TV adaptation for several top producers in Hollywood).
Tristan Cohen
Based in Brooklyn, New York, Tristan Cohen is a filmmaker and co-founder of the Nosara International Film Festival. Having started at 17, he has worn nearly every hat in the world of filmmaking, as writer, director, producer, director of photography, and editor. Guerilla filmmaking is where he thrives.
Tristan’s fluency in English and French, as well as proficiency in Spanish has led him to work on projects around the world, from a surf documentary in South Africa, to all kinds of narrative and experimental projects across North America, as well as a human rights documentary in Kenya. His first short film “Vincent” gathered attention in New York, screening at Dumbo Film Festival, Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, and Greenpoint Film Festival. He is currently writing his debut feature film and in pre-production for two feature films that he is DPing.
